One of my main problems as an author wannabe is that I have a very hard time sending out submissions to different publishing houses and agents.  It's a real mental block I have and I need to get over it.  I have friends who send out 5-10 submissions a month and all I can do is wonder who they're sending all of them out to.  I'm so picky and choosy about who I submit to - or maybe it's just that I hate to send something out and make the recipient feel that I wasted their time because my stuff doesn't fit their criteria.  I don't know what it is, but this year I'm making a vow to myself to send out at least one submission a month.  Cause you won't get published if you don't submit!

Delia, I sympathize with you. Submitting your work has got to be the hardest, hardest thing. And I swear, typos morph onto the page as soon as you drop the partial into the mail box.
